Overview

The Philosophy exam is designed to assess your understanding of key philosophical concepts, theories, and critical reasoning. It will test your ability to analyze arguments, interpret philosophical texts, and apply logical thinking to abstract problems.

Expected Exam Topics

  1. Ethics and Moral Philosophy – theories of morality, ethical dilemmas, and applied ethics.

  2. Logic and Critical Thinking – reasoning, argument analysis, deductive and inductive logic.

  3. Metaphysics and Epistemology – reality, existence, knowledge, and belief systems.

  4. History of Philosophy – major philosophers and philosophical movements.

  5. Philosophical Analysis and Application – evaluating philosophical arguments and constructing reasoned responses.

Exam Structure

Section A: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

  • Answer all questions.

  • Each question has four options; select the most appropriate answer.

  • Questions may cover any of the expected topics listed above.

Section B: Short/Brief Answer Questions

  • Answer all questions.

  • Each response should be concise (2–5 sentences).

  • Questions may involve analyzing philosophical arguments, interpreting texts, or explaining concepts.

  1. The exam will be shared with you upon hire.

  2. Compile all your answers in one Word document.

  3. Ensure your answers are clearly labeled with the question numbers.
